Situated amidst snowy mountains and flanked by conifers and oak forests, Auli, located 16 km from Joshimath on the Badrinath route, offers a panoramic view of Himalayan peaks such as the Nanda Devi (7,817 metre), the Kamet (7,756 metre), the Mana Parvat (7,273 metre) and the Dunagiri (7,066 metre). From here, the ranges seem just an arms length away.
Also called Bugyal in the native language, Auli has from ancient times been a grazing ground for the local shepherds. Today, however, this 6 sq. km. area has become the favoured destination of sking enthusiasts. Aulis sking slopes, are in fact, compared to the best skiing destinations in the world.

Day 01 : Arrive Joshimath/Auli
Upon arrival at Joshimath/Auli and transfor to your hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Sking Auli.
Full day free for the Skiing activites at Auli Bugyal. From here you can see the himalayan peaks like the Nanda Devi(7817m), Kamet(7756m), Mana Parvat(7273m) and Dunagiri(7066m).
Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03 : Depart Joshimath/Auli
After Breakfast depart for the onward destinations.

By Rail - The nearest railhead is at Rishikesh, about 235 kms from Auli.
By Road - Frequent buses run for Auli from Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Delhi, so road is a good option too. one can also get to Auli by hired jeeps or taxi.
