Day 01: Leh- Indus Valley
Morning after breakfast, we will take you to a guided tour of the Monasteries of the Indus Valley. Your excursion would include visits to, HEMIS (45 KMS. SOUTH OF LEH)
Built on a green hillside surrounded by spectacular mountains, Hemis is the biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh. It was built in the 17th century by Chapgon Gyalshas and ever since has enjoyed the patronage of the royal family. Hemis is the headquarter of the Drukpa order and all the monasteries throughout Ladakh are administered by it. This wealthiest monastery contains gold statues and stupas decorated with precious stones and many priceless old Thankas.THIKSEY (25 KMS SOUTH OF LEH)
Thiksey,one of the most imposing monasteries belonging to the 15th century, stands on a crag overlooking the flood plain on the east bank of the Indus. The monastery belongs to Elugpa order (Yellow sect) and is a 12- Storey Monastery painted deep red, ochre and white with typical tapering walls. There is a 15m high Buddha figure at the entrance of the new temple. The layout of the monastery complex resembles the Potala palace in Lhasa.
SHEY (15 KMS SOUTH OF LEH)
On the East bank of the Indus river lies the beautiful Shey Monastery. Up to the 16th century it was the royal palace. There is a 17.5 m high blue haired Maitreya Buddha of copper, brass gilded and studded with precious gemstones.
Return to your hotel by the later part of the afternoon. Evening you can walk down to the nearest market on your own or spend some time at leisure.

Meal Plan:- Full BoardDay 02: Leh- Nubra Valley (3048 M) via Khardungla Pass: Drive 150 Kms
Morning after breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla.Overnight Stay at Diskit.
Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Nubra river is a tributary of the Indus river. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 metres above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La pass from Leh town.
Diskit town in the valley have become the congregation centre for people of the region. Diskit is the headquarters of the Nubra Valley and thus has lot of government offices with basic facilities. It is also connected by road with Leh. The 32 metre Maitreya Buddha statue is the landmark of Nubra Valley and is maintained by the Diskit Monastery.

After relaxed breakfast drive back to leh and overnight at a hotel in Leh.
Currently the only road access to the Nubra Valley - Leh is over Khardung La which is open throughout the year. Its status as the highest motorable road in the world is no longer accepted by most authorities. The Indian Government has completed another road pass over Wari La from Sakti, to the east of Khardung La, and the road connecting it to central Nubra along the Shyok River is said to be almost completed as of 2008.

Meal:- Full BoardDay 04: Leh- Pangong: Drive 185 Kms
Early morning after breakfast drive to Pangong lake.
Pangong Tso "long, narrow, enchanted lake" is anendorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. The lake is 5 km (3.1 mi) wide at its broadest point. All together it covers 604 km2. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water.
The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. This will be the first trans-boundary wetland in South Asia under the convention.

Morning after breakfast drive back to Leh. Enjoy evening at Leh market and prepare to depart next morning.

Cancellation made prior to 91 days or more, 10% of the money deposited as advance or Rs. 4000/- p. p whichever is higher.
61 - 90 days: 25% of the total invoice
31 - 60 days: 50% of the total invoice
07 -30 days: 75% of the total invoice
01 - 06 days: full retention and will be treated as no show client
In certain cases the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.
