Manali Peak (5669 m) is a beautiful mountain peak located in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Manali Peak is a secluded destination for mountaineers and trekkers, as it offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys and is hard to access. Climbing this peak requires proper mountaineering skills, equipment, and training. It is recommended to join an expedition with an experienced guide or join a mountaineering course before attempting to climb the peak.
The standard route to the summit of Manali Peak involves a trek from Dhundi, followed by a climb to the Beas Kund Glacier. From there, you will need to cross the glacier and climb up the steep snow and ice slopes to reach the summit. The climb to the summit typically takes around 7-8 days, depending on the weather conditions and your fitness level.
It is important to note that mountaineering can be dangerous, and safety should always be the top priority. You should obtain the necessary permits, follow all safety protocols, and have adequate travel insurance before embarking on the expedition. Additionally, it is important to minimize your impact on the environment by practicing leave-no-trace principles and using biodegradable products.
