Bijli Mahadev is a legendary temple located at the top of the Mathan hill. Day 1: Reach kasol and visit Chalal, Manikaran
Today you reach Kasol. To reach to Kasol you can come to Bhuntar from Delhi. From Bhuntar buses and shared cabs are available to reach Kasol. At kasol you will meet our representative who will take you to the campsite. Settle down and freshen up. Or you can visit to Manikaran or Kasol market. Come back to the campsite in afternoon. Bonfire will be arranged in the evening Enjoy the star studded sky of Kasol. After dinner have the deepest sleep of your life listening to the sound of river.
Day 2: Trek to Bijli Mahadev and Back
After breakfast start you cab journey to Bijli Mahadev. The route goes via Naggar. It is approx. 2 hours of cab journey to reach the start point of Bijli Mahadev trek. From there it is approx. 3 km of trek uphill which will take 2-3 hours to reach the top. The view from the hilltop is mesmerizing. The temple is located at an altitude of about 2,438 m in the Kullu Valley. This is one of the scenic temples in the region and located approx. 10 km from Kullu beside the Beas river
You can see Kullu, Manikaran, Malana & Bhuntar Airport directly from the top of the Bijli Mahadev. After spending some quality time and enjoying a panoramic view of Kullu and Paravati valleys you can start your journey back to Bhuntar directly by the car you came.
Bijli Mahadev Trek
The Bijli Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a remarkable site located in Kullu district. Legend has it that lightning strikes the temple, shattering the Shivling into fragments. The temple priest then uses butter to reassemble the Shivling, restoring its form with divine grace. Situated at an altitude of 2,460 meters, the temple offers stunning views of Parvati Valley. The daytime weather is pleasant, while nights can be cold, windy, and prone to thunderstorms.

Puid is a village in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by Kullu tehsil towards South, Lahul Tehsil towards North, Sipti tehsil towards East, Chaunthra tehsil towards West.
Parvati valley
It is situated in the lap of Himalayas. This valley caters a variety of travellers and tourists. The valley starts from a junction of river Parvati and Beas and runs towards the steep side of Bhuntar.
Bijli Mahadev trek weather
As this place lies height, the weather is unpredictable. The best time to visit Bijli Mahadev is summer as the weather is pleasant and not very cold. During winters and rainy season, the weather is cold and the road becomes slippery which makes trekking difficult.
