Descriptions
Great Himalayan National Park was constituted in 1984 and was formally notified as a national park in 1999. It is located in Banjaar Sub-Division of Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh, India, in the far Western Himalayas. GHNP is one of the most recent additions to a huge network of wildlife reserves found in the Himalayan region of India and adjoining countries. GHNP was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2014 in recognition of its outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation. The park protects over 1,000 plant species, including many medicinal herbs, 31 mammal species, and 209 bird species, as well as amphibians, reptiles, and insects. Four of GHNP’s mammal species and three of its bird species are globally threatened, including the musk deer and the western horned tragopan.

Program
Day 01: Delhi - Jibhi
We will start this journey around midnight in Delhi. It is around 465 km from Delhi to Jibhi, which will take around 10 to 11 hours. Overnight journey by coach.
Day 02: Arrival JibhiUpon arrival at Jibhi and checking into the hotel. Briefing about dos and don'ts and the local area, followed by room allotment. After lunch, we will go for the Jibhi Waterfall Trek, which is just a 20-minute trek from the hotel. After this, we will drive to Balo village, which is a scenic place with a dancing forest. We will trek for 1 km to reach Balo Temple, which is situated in the middle of a dance forest. Spend some time here and return to Bahu, which is very famous for its sunset view. On the way, we can spend quality time at Bahu Lake, a small but scenic water pond. Proceed to Bahu and catch the sunset view. Return to Jibhi.
Day 03: Day excursion to Jlori pass (Trek to Serolsar Lake)
After a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to Jalori Pass. The total distance is 12 km one way, and it will take about 1 hour to reach there. Park your vehicle at Jlori Pass and enjoy a cup of tea at an altitude of 10,800 feet, followed by a trek to Serolsar Lake. It is a 5 km trek on one side and situated in a dance forest.
The lake is associated with “Buddhi Naging," the goddess of snakes and mother of all snake deities, and claims the lake’s water possesses medicinal properties. Return back to Jalori Pass in the afternoon and drive back to Jibhi.
Later in the day, we will have a session of team-building activities and fun and management games. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 04:- Day excursion to Chehni fort and Shringa Rishi Temple
After a leisurely breakfast, we will drive for about 20 minutes to reach the parking point of Chehni Fort. Followed by a trek of about 2 kilometers to reach Chehni Fort. It is a lovely walk among the pines, with local devotees carrying flowers to be offered at the Syringa Rishi temple. Syringa Rishi is the ruling deity of Banjar Valley.
Unspoiled Chehni village is one of the most magical villages imaginable. Surveying a wide sweep of valley and ridge tops from 2110 m, its antique core features the astounding 250-year-old Chehni Koti fort tower, between six and 11 stories high, depending on how you count them. There’s a shorter tower across the yard and a third medieval tower house in the fort.
Day 05:- Jibhi - Delhi
Today, after breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and drive back to Delhi. We will drop you off at your desired location, and our services will end there.

General Conditions:
- All prices are subject to any revision to the tax and tariff structure
- Above price is valid till 30 Nov 2020.
- The prices are on a per-person basis and are net and non-commissionable.
- Upon confirmation of the booking, we would require 50% of the total invoice, and the balance amount can be paid 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
- We reserve the right to cancel the tour in the absence of a deposit, balance, or final payment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt Ltd.
For cancellations made 60 days prior to the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice. For cancellations made within 60 to 30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice. For cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.
In certain cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable to the advance deposit made or required for holding the reservation) may differ and would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel or service provider. This will be charged in addition to the cancellation policy.
Unused Services and Refunds
No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passengers while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier, hotel, tour company, or other supplier used for providing services.
A refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.
If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stays, transportation, meals, etc., an extra bill will be raised. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers or hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
Responsibility, Liability
All the packages are sold under the business management of India Travel Pvt. Ltd., and they are in no way to be considered the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers or hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes or riots, roadblocks, etc.
Governing Law
This condition and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles, and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
