Day- 1: Dehradun to Sankri
Trek Distance: 220 Kms Duration: 10 hours Elevation: 1200ft
The first day of the trek will start from Dehradun. You will reach Sankri from Dehradun in around 10 hours. The journey will go through the beautiful Mussoorie, we will go through Naugaon, Purola, Mori, and Netwar before finally reaching village Sankri. You will get to see the beauty of tall pine trees and beautiful flowers and birds along the way. After covering a sufficient distance we will stop for lunch at a local dhaba. We will also cross the Govind National Park checkpoint on the way. In the evening, we will reach our first stop - Sankri. After freshening up, get ready to explore the Sankri Village, its market, cultural cuisines and local inhabitants. Stay the night in the hotel.

Day- 2: Sankri to Taluka
Day- 3: Pauni Garaat to Kalkattiyadhaar
Trek Distance: 14 Kms Duration: 6 hours Elevation: 9,800 feet.
On day 3, we will start early in the morning to further trail to Kalkattiyadhaar which is at a distance of 7 km from Pauni Garaat and takes 6 hours to reach. The route will be through harvest lands, cattle grazing, and slant-roofed huts and just between the forests of cashew nuts and walnuts lies the village Oslo. The village Oslo is said to be a preacher of Duryodhana of Mahabharata. The village has a 2000 year old Temple and few inhabitants. Get some rest and then we move further, catching views of Dhauladhar Range and trails to Borasu Pass and Baspa Valley. Then further down reaching a lush green field comes Kalkattiyadhaar. Camps will be setup here and stay the night.

Day- 4: Kalkattiyadhar to Har Ki Doon then back to Kalkattiyadhar
Trek Distance: 10 Kms Duration: 9 hours Elevation: 11,800feet.
Start a little early today and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the sunrise. Continue the trail through glacier basin of moraines and alpine meadows and pine tree forest. Moving up further, you can catch a glimpse of frozen waterfalls. The valley is filled with immense beauty - the huge peaks of Swargarohini, Hata Peak, Black Peak, lush meadows, frozen streams, coniferous forests, glacier moraines all these leaving you transfixed with its eternal beauty. After having all these unforgettable memories and capturing the magical moments, we return back to the campsite of Kalkattiyadhar.
Day- 5: Kalkattiyadhar to Pauni Garaat
Trek Distance: 8 Kms Duration: 5 Hours Elevation: 8,900 feet to 8,200 feet
The next day, begin your descent from 8,900 feet to Sankri at 6,400 feet, covering a distance of 6 km in about 4 hours at a moderate pace. After breakfast, pack up and start the journey downhill along a well-paved path dotted with small stones, pine trees, and flowing streams. The route offers breathtaking views of the Har Ki Dun Valley, also known as the "Valley of Gods." The final 2,500 feet are shaded by dense pine forests, leading you to the campsite where you can relax or explore the nearby Hargaon Village. The village has local shops and dhabas serving traditional food, and sometimes hosts folk music and dance performances. End the day with an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day- 6: Pauni Garaat to Sankri
Trek Distance: 10 Kms Duration: 5 Hours Elevation : 6400 feet
Start early in the morning and begin trekking down by the same route reaching to Taluka in around 5 hours and then stopping at the same places during the way. The car will be waiting at the end of the trail to drive you back to the hotel. Stay equally careful while moving down and enjoy your evening in Sankri on day 6.
Day- 7: Sankri to Dehradun
Trek Distance: 220 Kms Duration: 10 Hours Elevation : 6400 feet
The trek comes to an end with the drive back to Sankri from Dehradun. It is a 10 hour drive. Enjoy the route and have breakfast and lunch on the way. Get refreshed by views of natural marvels of Uttrakhand. You will be dropped at Dehradun railway station or airport as per your requirements.

Clothes:
Trekking can be done in different types of seasons like winter, summer, spring or rainy. But it is still preferred to keep different types of clothes that can handle the ever-changing weather quality of the trekking routes. So keep clothes which are warm, suitable for the rainy season. T-shirt:
These are the basics to keep in your packing. Keep at least 3 T-shirts. One a half sleeve which you’ll be wearing, then full sleeved ones and collared. Especially make sure the T-shirts are of cotton and dry fit as they easily soak sweat and get dry fast, so they are very useful during trekking. Keep extra T-shirts or inner-wear also in case they get wet or dirty during the journey.
The weather may get a bit rainy, so it must keep the T-shirts in extra numbers so, you don’t run out of clothes during the journey.
Winter Layers:
keep enough winter clothes like flannel jackets, sweaters, and jackets. The weather in the mountains is often chilly and windy so it is a must to have your winter clothes ready in your backpacks. The weather can get quite chilly in the evening and night so make sure to keep you warm enough to survive the night. Keep at least 2-3 winter layers with you. Sunglasses:
They come very usefully during trekking under a scorching sun. You don’t want your eyes to be directly exposed to the sun or having a severe headache due to excessive heat so sunglasses play an important role in making the adventure under the sun.
Sun Cap:
A sun cap is very important. The sun heat will cause many problems like headaches, sunstrokes and dehydration so it is a must to have a sun cap while trekking. You can easily protect your eyes and head from the harmful UV rays of the sun with a sun cap.
Synthetic Gloves:
Trekking in the snow-covered areas will be quite slippery, so you need synthetic gloves to have a good grip that has waterproof on the outside and a padded lining on the inside. Hand gloves are Quite necessary while trekking and makes the activities like climbing and supporting yourself in rough terrain quite easy. Gloves great support and grip while trekking.
Socks:
At least keep a minimum of 4 pairs of socks that are woollen and thick with synthetic blend fabric. Avoid cotton socks as they absorb water and take time to dry. Keep multiple pairs in case they get dirty or wet during trekking journeys.

Headlamps are an important accessory while trekking, with headlamps your hands are free to do activities like climbing, doing the washing, pitch tents. The weather will be unexpected during trekking so it is important to have your rain cover ready for facing such weather. In India, most people prefer having one trekking pole, but having 2 trekking poles for support from both hands is way better so we also recommend you to get 2 trekking poles for your trek journey.
Other Important Things to Keep
Toiletry Kit:
keep your basic toilet items like sunscreen, lip balm, deodorant, moisturizer, oil, etc. you will not be having a bath so don’t keep soaps and shampoos. Carry mini size items and share one toothpaste if you are trekking in a group. It is important to have your essentials ready with you in case you need them. The mountains do not provide these types of basic need materials so you need to bring them with you in advance.
For women:
If you get your period during the trek, you can carry sanitary pads and tampons. You will get tent toilets on the camp bases and you can change there. Also, make sure you keep zipped packages to dispose of the pads or tampons and not litter them in the nature area. It is our responsibility to keep our mother earth clean and pure so remember to avoid throwing any kind of waste around and in the mountains
Plastic cover:
keep plastic covers to keep your wet or dirty clothes or items. Plastic covers have many uses, it can be used to store items like wet socks, and extra things that may affect your packed stuff. Keep a few of them and also reuse them and avoid keeping too many plastic bags.
Cutlery Items:
keep your biodegradable cutlery items as you don't need to get cutlery in the base areas, keep them in advance. We prefer stainless steel or biodegradable cutlery. Mountains are not equipped with having these things available for the visitors so it is important to have your cutlery items brought with you.
Day Pack:
The day pack is the carry bag which will be having the basic needs items for you like water bottle, cutlery, toiletries, medicines, headlamp, warm clothes, rainwear and snacks. This bag will be carried with you throughout the trekking journey so it is important to fill it with all the important items that are necessary for the journey and survival.
Medical Kit:

- Paracetamol: It is a Very Essential Medicine, can cure mild fever and pain so very necessary to Keep.
- Avomine: It is useful if you have Motion Sickness. Take one-half Hour Before Starting Your Trek
- Combiflam: It is a Pain Reliever. Take a combiflam if you get the sudden twist of the leg or a muscle strain
- Digene: It is useful When your food is undigested During trekking. Take it if you feel the food that You've taken is undigested
- ORS: it is most likely that you may get dehydrated during the trekking journey so musk keeps ORS packets with you as it is important to have sufficient energy during the whole journey and not fall sick
Knee Braces:
It is important for those who are prone to having knee injury or knee pain during heavy walking or climbing. Knee braces provide you with great support and grip during climbing and trekking. If you face any serious health issue you can contact the trek leader and don’t consume any medicine without consulting the trek leader. The trek leader will also be having the life-saving medicines with him already so he will help you in any case of emergency
Mandatory Documents:
The original document of identity proof - driver’s license, Aadhar card, the passport will be fine. It is very important to have your identity proof with yourself while on a journey.

Medical Certificate:
This document in your health status will be mentioned as checked and approved by the doctor himself.
