Prepare yourself for an incredible journey with the Mount Banderpunch Expedition! On this 18-day adventure, you will tour breathtaking landscapes, visit charming villages, and hike through lush forests. After spending some time acclimatizing to the altitude and receiving expert guidance, you'll be ready for the exciting climb ahead.

Tackle challenging terrain, including snowy and steep slopes, while enjoying stunning views from the summit of Mount Banderpunch. This expedition combines adventure, skill development, and the natural beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas in perfect harmony. It’s not just about having fun—it’s about embarking on a truly remarkable mountain adventure!

Program

Mt. Bandarpunch Expedition (6316 M) Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVE UTTARKASHI

Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, meet our representative and check in at Shikhar Nature Resort.

The rest of the evening is free for leisure activities.

Meals: Dinner

DAY 2: UTTARKASHI – SUKHI - FOREST CAMP (55 KMS DRIVE & TREK)

After breakfast, complete some formalities or paperwork in Uttarkashi. Later, drive to Sukhi, covering approximately 55 km in 3 hours. From Sukhi, trek to Forest Camp. Overnight stay in camp.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

DAY 03: FOREST CAMP – BASE CAMP (TREK)

After breakfast, begin your trek to Base Camp, covering approximately 12 km in 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, set up the base camp for an overnight stay.

DAY 04-15: BASE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP (CLIMBING)

The next 12 days will be dedicated to establishing higher camps and attempting the summit.

Meals: All meals at Base camp

DAY 16: BASE CAMP - FOREST CAMP

After breakfast, pack up the base camp and trek back down to Forest Camp. Overnight stay at Forest Camp.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

DAY 17: FOREST CAMP – SUKHI – UTTARKASHI (TREK AND DRIVE)

After breakfast, start the trek back to Sukhi. From Sukhi, drive back to Uttarkashi and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 18: DEPART UTTARKASHI

After breakfast, check out of the resort and depart for your onward journey.

Inclusion Details

Price Includes:

• Booking of Mt. Bandarpunch with relevant authority, the IMF (Indian Mountaineering Foundation) and the booking fee
• The national park fee and Expedition fee of state government of Uttarakhand
• Liaison officer fees, Accommodation, Meals and Transportation (Delhi to Delhi)
• Accommodation on DBL/TWN Sharing Rooms in hotels, guest houses, and campsites as per program
• All meals as per above-mentioned program
• Accommodation in tents during Approach March and at Base Camp, i.e., a single tent for two persons.
• Transportation by Tempo Traveler/Innova in Delhi and Non-AC Jeeps in the Mountains as per program.
• Services of HH Escort till Base Camp.
• First aid kit with Oxygen Cylinder
• High-altitude food (after Base Camp)
• Services of High-Altitude Porter or Guide
• Complete kitchen and camp equipment, including camp staff, till base camp
• We will provide all Meals till base camp to Guest, HAP, All Staff and Liaison officer
• All current taxes, including the government service tax of 5%
• Transportation of members luggage, maximum 40 kg per person, roadhead to base camp and base camp to roadhead by pony or porters

Exclusion

• Personal clothing and gear required for climbing
• Any airfare (Domestic and International)
• Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tips, etc.
• Camera Fees.
• Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to or circumstances such as weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots, etc.
• Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents, or loss of goods.
•  Any Cargo and Shipment Charges (Import and customs Clearance) and personal belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks, etc.

NOTE:

• The above cost is valid till October 2024
• The above cost will not be applicable if there is a major change in the INR-USD exchange rate.
• Please ensure that your members are covered under Insurance as per your government Rules
• Our kitchen staff and escort will accompany you until base camp
