Descriptions

Mount Kedar Dome is in the Garhwal range of the Himalayas in Uttrakhand. It is located 2 kilometers from the northwest side of the religiously significant Kedarnath Peak. The Kedarnath and Kedar domes surround the Gangotri Glacier on two sides. This trail covers a breathtaking landscape.

The climb to this is from the standard route on the northwest side, which poses fewer challenges and difficulty due to extremely bad weather conditions. During the climb, you witness the scenic view of the Gangotri range of mountains. Mt. Kedar Dome is also famous for the ski down. This is for those mountaineers who can face high altitudes and extreme weather conditions. Mountaineers should be physically fit and healthy. The best time to climb is between June and October.
