The Triund Laka Glacier trek spans 7-9 km from Bhagsunath via various routes. The most recommended path is through Galu Devi or Dharamkot. You’ll trek approximately 9 km from Bhagsu to reach Triund Hill, and from there, Laka Glacier is about 2 km uphill. This trek offers stunning views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar peaks and the beautiful Kangra Valley.
Day 01: McLeod Ganj – Triund (2975m) 9Km
The reporting will be our camping base at McLeodganj which is around 1km from the bus stand or the main Chowk at McLeodganj.
The trek starts from here and we move through forests of rhododendron, deodar and oak trees. There will be a steep ascent of 2km and there we will have a descent till Galu Devi temple. The last 1 km will be a steep ascent through the forest until we reach Triund which is a flat meadow on the ridge. We will have majestic views of the Dhauladhar range and the Kangra Valley.Night stay at Tents.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner with Bonfire in the evening.
Day 02 Triund - Lake Got (3300m). - 6km
After the short ascent from Triund we will reach a ridge to reach the Laka Got or the Laka Glacier which is a temporary shepherd camp. The Laka Got is situated on the snout of a smaller glacier. Snow can be expected during early summer. After that there is a steep ascent from the Laka Got to the Lahesh caves. After we reach Lahesh caves we will come down for the Laka Glacier camp at night.

Day 03: Laka Got - Mcleodganj -15km
You can return by the same route or take a different path from Triund, traversing a scenic grassy meadow before descending to Bhagsu Nag and then continuing on to Mcleodganj.
