Valley of Flowers is famed for its lush meadows, as the name implies. Which bloom with a variety of alpine flowers and wildlife.  Its extraordinary natural beauty, population of uncommon, endangered, and high-altitude flora and wildlife, and classification as a World Heritage Site. UNESCO proclaimed it a World Heritage Site after years of protection and administration.

There are many alpine meadows and valleys in the Garhwal Himalayas, such as Khiron Valley, Har-Ki-Dun, Dayara Bugyal, and others, that offer comparable height ranges and plant compositions as the Valley of Flowers, for those tourists seeking a visual feast. However, none of them can compare to the Valley of Flowers in terms of floral diversity. This Valley attracts not only trekkers and nature lovers from all over the world, but also flower lovers, botanists, photographers, birdwatchers, and wildlife photographers. They visit during the peak season, and they depart with awe and an unforgettable experience!

The Valley of Flowers opens in early June and closes in late October. However, the best months to visit are July and August. During this time, the flowers blossom and wilt. The Valley of Flowers hike, which reaches a height of 14,400 feet, is not challenging.

Program

Day 01: Haridwar to Govindghat (Drive 280 Km | 7 Hr)

Morning Pick up from Haridwar and drive to Govindghat. Upon arrival check-in the hotel/lodge for an overnight stay. Evening visit market and Gurudwara.

Meal: Dinner

Day 02: Govindghat – Pulna - Ghangaria (Drive 4 Km Trek 10 Km | 6 Hr)

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive 4 Km to Pulna village from where you will start trekking to Ghangaria. You will have packaged Lunch in Bhyundar valley. Evening visit Information Centre and Gurudwara. Overnight stay in Homestay/Guesthouse /Swiss Camps.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 03: Valley of Flowers Excursion (Trek 12 Kms | 7-8 Hr)

Altitude Gain: 3400

Today morning after breakfast at hotel we will start our trek to Valley of Flowers with pack lunch. You will have a beautiful panorama of vivid flowers scattered across the valley that will delight your eyes and beautiful waterfalls to pass through.

Later in the day trek back to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Hemkund Sahib Excursion (Trek 12 Kms | 7-8 Hr)

Altitude Gain: 4300 M

Today we will visit Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara which is World’s Highest Gurudwara, the 10th Sikh Shrine. It is a moderate trek passing through the beautiful waterfalls of Laxman Ganga. Visit Hemkund sahib and lunch (langar) at Hemkund sahib.

Later in the day trek back to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Ghangaria – Pulna – Badrinath (Trek 10 Kms and Drive 30 Drive | 5 Hrs)

After breakfast trek back to Pulna village and upon arrival drive to Badrinath 25 kilometers. visit Badrinath temple. If time permits, you will also visit Mana village Last village of India (5 Kms from Badrinath). Overnight stay in a hotel in Badrinath.

Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 6: Badrinath – Haridwar (Drive 314 Km | 8 Hr)

Morning post breakfast check out from hotel and drive back to Haridwar. Our vehicle will drop you in Haridwar by evening.
